The Low Fat Scam - August 27th, 2009

Low fat is a trick, it’s a scam. I think it should be known in general terms. It’s a simple fact of life. They use preservatives and other types of unnatural fats that your body can’t properly process to replace that fat. They also do this with low sugar or sugar free items. They don’t stop using the fat all together, because the fat is what gives it the taste we like, and even the bad taste so often associated with fat free stuff, they need a certain amount of a type of fat to get that. So instead of replacing it with good fat or something logical like that, they just put in a different kind of unhealthier processed fat that won’t count the same way normal fat would. I found it interesting because I recently had a guy complaining at me about how he was so healthy and only eating low fat foods and why wasn’t he skinnier. Well that would be why. No fat foods are not actually good for you, well at least not the ones that normally have a lot of fat. Fruits and vegetables are always good for you keep in mind. So they don’t count quite the same way as others might.
