Losing belly fat is a hard thing. It’s in large part hereditary. After all, we all have our own trouble spots. Some people seem to have no trouble spots, just having even distribution of fat everywhere. But that could be a problem for women looking like a little boy essentially speaking. But the belly is a big area and a dangerous area, because when you have that, you are actually putting your major organs such as your heart at greater risk. So how do you burn off that belly fat?
The first and obvious way is to do more cardio so you burn off more fat in general and with that more belly fat. But it’s not just that as many would know from personal experience. It seems like all the cardio in the world is still leaving you with that particular problem in proportion to the rest of your body, even if it’s shrinking in measurements.
So for one thing, cut out bad fats like those from red meat for example. The reality is you don’t actually need them in your diet, and to be honest, you’re not benefitting from them at all. They add to not only belly fat, but the fat under the muscles that actually ends up surrounding and affecting the vital organs, causing things like heart disease for example.
Second, make sure you cut down on your alcohol consumption. Alcohol is extremely high in calories, and it goes ultimately speaking strait to the belly area. And while you’re at it, eat more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants, and low in fat.
And finally, never starve yourself. When you starve yourself, you ultimately are losing weight in an unhealthy way and depriving yourself of nutrients you need. But over time, when you suffer from malnutrition, your belly actually begins to poke out anyway. So for obvious reasons, that would only aggravate the already present problem that you happen to suffer from.
