Hospital Births - September 14th, 2009

This is a true story.  You really should actually I would say always go to a hospital to have your babies.  I mean I know people like going the natural way, and some are in love with it.  But you can go to a hospital where they will properly monitor things and get no drugs.  I’ve known some Amish who even do it, which is great.  But most recently, I had a friend die of a complication that I looked up, and I found that actually they can treat it every single time practically in a hospital.  They notice it fast, deal with it fast, modern medicine has come a long way.  But I know she did it at home, and at the age of 30, her husband now has to deal with all their kids on his own.  This being said, I also had a friend who all of the sudden after her pregnancy and doing this started bloating, started gaining weight.  She initially thought it was fat and freaked out.  But it led to all this internal damage, and eventually she ended up going to the hospital anyway.  By then, it was obviously too late to take it back.  But she was able to deal with the bloating and otherwise and try to stop the damage from going any further.  But my big thing is just take the preventative steps.  You can go without drugs, but the monitoring and the aftercare is so important, even if it’s just to avoid the internal damage and bloating, but especially to prevent preventable death.
