			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Now there are always programs to help people who want to lose weight to lose weight.  But what about teens?  I mean the number of teens actually gaining serious weight is always growing, obese teens are growing at constant rates now, and frankly speaking the fat camps aren’t enough.  Fat camps like other camps are a temporary trip away from family, friends, old habits, and temptations entirely.  So it makes it extremely easy for them.  However, when they go home, they aren’t really prepared to actually take on the world around them, and this is why I think it really should be coupled with long term diet counseling, and frankly speaking, the whole family should be included in it.  I mean if the whole family is not there to support them, it makes it so much harder.  This being said, I think there could also be local chapters just like there’s local chapters of the YMCA for some kids in certain areas to just get into better situations with their friends in general.  It helps them to feel a certain sense of community.  If the family will not be included in weight loss procedures and so on, why not actually have a community set up where they can actually go for support in their general dieting.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The idea of any diet is to eat healthier, eat less, and lose weight while of course exercising.  You cannot really lose weight without exercising.  But the idea of course in this is to eat foods that will be more quickly filling.  SO for one thing don’t eat beef.  Beef takes longer to digest.  But eat eggs and eat for that matter actually cod.  Or mix it with beef, because beef will keep you full later whereas these types of foods will keep you full now and make you feel full sooner.  They have actually tested adults who ate 2 eggs per day and found them to be lower weight and healthier without actually spiking cholesterol levels or anything like that as long as they keep it to 2 eggs per day.  Likewise, oatmeal can be extremely filling, and it expands in the stomach.  Moreover, it actually helps you with nutrients.  It basically stops you from accumulating fats, and it neutralizes insulin levels in the body.  You can also easily mix fruits with oatmeal for a more pleasant taste in many cases rather than using sugar.  So these foods can definitely be the higher quality foods and filling foods that you want to eat less and therefore get the better effects you are actually looking for.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is apparently supposed to be smart dining…….at McDonalds.  What’s up with that right?  Anyway, there are some trying to justify McDonalds, and honestly when I went through my chicken salad craze with them, well I didn’t justify that.  I just accepted that I wasn’t really doing myself any diet favors that particular day.  Of course, you get Morgan Spurlock, who spent 30 days literally trying every McDonalds meal and lost weight at one point, because muscle was being replaced with pure fat.  And then it took him months to get past the health problems he had developed as well as getting his old body back.  That doesn’t help anyone.  He also did a later documentary about living on minimum wage, I like watching his documentaries.  But basically speaking, because of that documentary, McDonalds wanted to get better press.  Frankly, I feel better about Wendy’s because for one thing they cook their fries in vegetable oils and did so without this kind of prompting.  Some McDonalds still sneak animals fats into major cooking.  But now, actually McDonalds has in their kids meals little apple snacks, which if you don’t dip them in anything else, are a good thing. It’s inevitable, you can’t ruin apples in that way.  But honestly speaking, that’s about the only thing healthy you will find at McDonalds.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Frankly speaking, the reality is that most Americans are now overweight or obese.  This is causing serious problems, understandable problems, and many are obviously getting frustrated with it.  The best way to lose weight is obviously to cut your calories and exercise more or just cut calories and you will naturally lose some weight.  Even 200 calories could make a huge difference.  With this in mind, there are easy ways to deal with this process.  There are easy ways to cut 200 calories, which isn’t really a big deal.  For example, just a 20 oz bottle of soda has 250 calories.  So cutting out one soda per day could help you to easily achieve better results and easily eliminate the 200 calories per day to lose some weight.  Likewise, if you cut out just 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, you naturally eliminate 200 calories.  This could be in sandwiches, on a baked potato, on various things really.  And finally, the big thing is you could eliminate dessert.  Dessert is a huge problem among many, and frankly eliminating dessert even just every other time could really make a significant difference.  It’s often more simple than we think to eliminate these particular numbers of calories to lose weight.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lately, it’s died down a bit.  But for a while there, people were on quite the train of being mad at airlines that were instituting a policy of charging the obese more to fly should there not be an extra seat by them where they could accommodate larger areas.  But I mean think about it.  If you’ve ever flown next to a seriously obese person, it takes up a good part of your seat, and frankly it’s really not fair to you to have that imposition among other things.  It wasn’t just fat, it was actually requiring a seatbelt extension among other things.  There were definitely set down guidelines as to what constituted this rule.  And if there were an extra seat, they would gladly just let you board.  But frankly, there were a lot of people complaining that it was unconstitutional or otherwise.  I had to wonder, there are so many health problems with obesity as it is, why is it such an injustice to just lose the weight.  I know they should be able to make that choice for themselves.  But realistically speaking, when somebody does take up the equivalent of 2 seats and it puts an imposition on the person who sits next to them, that is a big deal, and frankly it’s not fair for the airline to say well too bad, you have to sit there.  I mean I just don’t see the logic of complaining about something that actually makes sense.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>They call it the Fresh Diet.  I’ve only recently heard of it, and basically it’s quite similar to the Zone Diet.  They basically copied it after all.  Now most Americans are now obese, so a new diet is always a welcome addition to the market.  But this one was founded in January of 2006 by Zalmi Duchman and Le Cordon Bleu chef Yosef Schwartz.  You get 30% protein, 40% carbs, and 30% fat.  They reduce insulin and use good fatty acids to produce those positive effects in general, reducing apparent inflammation or “silent inflammation” as they call it that is associated with obesity.  They call it the Fresh diet apparently because unlike the Zone diet, they deliver fresh food to your door every day, 7 days a week instead of giving you prepackaged meals like the Zone diet does.  They have more gourmet meals such as filet mignon with roasted sweet potatoes and asparagus spears, which apparently also makes them better than the Zone Diet.  Their program is limited, and it costs about $350-$450 per week.  So it’s definitely not for everybody.  In fact, I have to wonder who can really afford this.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My brother is sneaky.  He always talks about how he wants to lose weight, and my dad does the same thing.  But they’re both sneaky.  My brother is always trying to sneak into my stuff, and I’ve caught him more than once going for it to the point that I’ve threatened repercussions against him should be continue to do it.  But that being said, it’s not just my stuff they sneak around with.  When I’m not looking, my dad loves sneaking and taking my food!  He gets some kind of weird pleasure out of it, especially being that I hate when other people touch my food, it’s a contamination thing.  I also don’t really share drinks for that same reason.  But my dad does that to me, and I know for a fact that he’s always sneaking out to get fast food.  My sister in law and mom both try to control them.  They both keep them on diets when they’re at home.  But they can only monitor them so much, and then they sneak fast food and junk food behind the scenes.  But even when caught, they won’t admit it.  So it’s one of things that if you do this, you are only hurting yourself.</p>
