There are two numbers representing when your heart is beating more and when you are at rest essentially speaking. Depending on the person, even borderline could be technically considered high or low. This being said, if you suffer hypertension, you could later suffer heart attack, stroke, or even blindness. Essentially speaking, if you are African American, over the age of 55, or have a history of it, are obese, or happen to smoke, you are at higher risk. It is often considered to be a silent killer, but at the moment even experts don’t know a whole lot about it. Generally speaking, if you have high blood pressure essentially speaking you have to change your lifestyle. You have to eat healthier, exercise more, and in many cases lose weight.
