Sometimes it seems like all diet pills are the same to the point where we could create one giant or small diet pills review and sum it up. Now we do this with products under one big name such as say Hydroxycut or NV for example. Or even Slimquick for that matter. We group them together, because as we have often found, they just end up grouping them together anyway. By this I mean they change up the formula by a few milligrams or something and then they call it something different when it’s virtually identical. Likewise, some go across lines and copy somebody else’s product or a product they sell under a completely different name. In some ways, this means there should be a diet pills review for these groupings, which would make many far less comprehensive it seems. But after all, aren’t so many writing the same thing over and over anyway about these same products? It makes more logical sense to just combine them. But this being said, it would be a lot harder to find the reviews if they have to have multiple names surrounding them and knowing which one to look for. So maybe it’s better that they stay separate.
One Big Diet Pills Review - September 18th, 2009
Nobody’s That Gifted - September 17th, 2009
There are some people who say that they have never dieted, exercised, or used diet pills in their life. In some ways, I believe them. But then in other ways I really don’t believe them. I mean unless they’re just in junior high or high school, I have never known anyone who didn’t have weight problems due to bad habits in college or otherwise. I have never known anyone who realistically speaking did not actually ever feel something could change about their body whether it was just toning or actual weight loss. This being said, some get the luck of the lottery. They end up with a body that doesn’t get fat when they don’t work out. They seem to always want to change it anyway whether to gain more weight or gain more muscle, and it can be done with the right work. And frankly, there are even diet pills that are focused more on weight gain in muscle than anything else. So it seems quiet contradictory, but it works out in various ways. So it’s just a matter of choosing. Some people do it without diet pills. But I don’t believe anybody has ever gone without dieting and otherwise.
The Idiot Proof Diet - September 16th, 2009
There is one diet I’ve come across recently that I HATE! Yes, most diet plans annoy me because they don’t provide long term results. And yes, most diet pills annoy me, because they are all too common caffeine pills that really don’t provide results. But that’s beside the point. I mean you’ve really got to be kidding me. They call it the “idiot proof diet.” They claim you can only use it for a short period of time, which is the first sign that it’s not good. There are prescription diet pills that are not meant for long term use due to side effects, and I wonder about them for many reasons. But they set the body up to provide long term results in the future. People follow it, because it’s instant gratification. But when they were following a good diet plan before and they’re complaining about losing “only” 2 pounds per week, I’m really frustrated by it, and realistically speaking the idiot proof diet disrupts that. It basically eliminates all food groups besides one, changing it up every day for about a week. And while if it were a fruit or vegetable diet giving you different options for variety sake, and that would cleanse your body which would help you to achieve healthy results while jump starting your diet, they don’t do that. They include all the junk food and other foods that you could want, and only a couple days are devoted to the idea of fruits or vegetables. I’ve heard of people dropping up to 12 pounds in one week, and then I’ve heard of them gaining it back and then doing it again. If you gain it back, you should try something else, simple fact, especially when it’s that quick. So really, it’s important to avoid diet such as the idiot proof diet. It should be called the idiot’s diet.
I’ve Never Dieted - September 15th, 2009
I have never actually dieted in my life. I know this sounds absurd, even to those with ridiculously high metabolisms, who I hate by the way. Everybody diets, right? Wrong. A diet is a change in lifestyle that is temporary. A diet means that you are eating a certain way only to lose weight, and then you plan to go back to an old plan hoping it will maintain things. I’ve never done that, and frankly it’s an old habit of yo yo dieters to try that method and approach, simple fact. Luckily, I was taught better eating habits when young. So I never really had to make some huge lifestyle change or anything. There are times when I go on vacation, and then you end up eating at tons of buffets, eating with your party all the time, even when you may not be all that hungry and therefore you don’t really follow your regular schedule. Just about everybody gains weight during that time. But I’m also rather active during vacations just as I am in my regular life or more so, because there’s so many opportunities to run around and play. But when I get back, I fall back into my old habits. The key is to develop good habits to fall back into.
Hospital Births - September 14th, 2009
This is a true story. You really should actually I would say always go to a hospital to have your babies. I mean I know people like going the natural way, and some are in love with it. But you can go to a hospital where they will properly monitor things and get no drugs. I’ve known some Amish who even do it, which is great. But most recently, I had a friend die of a complication that I looked up, and I found that actually they can treat it every single time practically in a hospital. They notice it fast, deal with it fast, modern medicine has come a long way. But I know she did it at home, and at the age of 30, her husband now has to deal with all their kids on his own. This being said, I also had a friend who all of the sudden after her pregnancy and doing this started bloating, started gaining weight. She initially thought it was fat and freaked out. But it led to all this internal damage, and eventually she ended up going to the hospital anyway. By then, it was obviously too late to take it back. But she was able to deal with the bloating and otherwise and try to stop the damage from going any further. But my big thing is just take the preventative steps. You can go without drugs, but the monitoring and the aftercare is so important, even if it’s just to avoid the internal damage and bloating, but especially to prevent preventable death.
Seniors Obesity - September 12th, 2009
It seems that many senior citizens are facing more obesity issues than ever before. With the simple generational change between my great grandma and grandma you can tell. My great grandma and grandpa were both beanpoles, pointing to really good genetics. Up until the end, my great grandma was actually gardening and walking every day which could be a big part of that. My grandma in part was that grandma that was always cooking up sweets, fatty foods, and otherwise, and my mom is a health freak. But still, my grandma was never really a big lady when she was young. She’s basically legally considered a midget, and she was a small lady, always had tiny legs that I envied until the end. But when she reached about 60, suddenly she started gaining weight, and she became quite round in general, and she ended up suffering from quite a few obesity related and age related health problems. That being said, she has recently dropped a lot of weight due to rather forced diet changes among other things. But it’s not just her. A lot of people in her age range, even though she’s about 80 now, are experiencing the same problems, and it’s even more prevalent among the baby boomers, which is definitely not a good sign for future generations.
Do You Have Hypertension - September 11th, 2009
Hypertension is a big obesity related condition. Sometimes you want to raise it. But for the most part, the 65 million that suffer from hypertension wouldn’t exactly have the need or want for that. There are two numbers representing when your heart is beating more and when you are at rest essentially speaking. Depending on the person, even borderline could be technically considered high or low. This being said, if you suffer hypertension, you could later suffer heart attack, stroke, or even blindness. Essentially speaking, if you are African American, over the age of 55, or have a history of it, are obese, or happen to smoke, you are at higher risk. It is often considered to be a silent killer, but at the moment even experts don’t know a whole lot about it. Generally speaking, if you have high blood pressure essentially speaking you have to change your lifestyle. You have to eat healthier, exercise more, and in many cases lose weight. There are some who already do this, but those cases are extremely rare to say the least. If you have hypertension, the bigger chance is that you could be doing better for yourself in general.
Counterproductive School Measures - September 9th, 2009
When I was in school, their big push was to eliminate soda and vending machines from the school. Yes, I got more than one full lunch from there. But it’s kinda like eliminating certain restaurants by law in certain areas, are you really making a dent or are you just pissing people off because you’re making them go further to actually get the foods they are going to eat either way or bring them with them in the mornings. They talked about eliminating them from the time I was in 7th grade, or about them, and then instead they eliminated the salad bar at my school to cut costs. Really constructive right? Instead, they got prepackaged salads that were wilting half the time, and instead everybody who had lined up and waited for half the lunch period just to get through that stupid salad line started eating pizza and fries instead. So obviously, it’s one of those things that you can’t just take away things you think are bad, you have to provide the options that many think are good so that kids will actually want them. That being said, my classmates actually gained weight as a whole after that and continued to through high school, and yet they never brought back certain healthier things that people actually wanted before.
Obesity Could Impair Your Ability To Adopt - September 8th, 2009
Who knew really that obesity could affect your ability to adopt a child. Most people come with the idea that they are either saving an unfortunate child, which definitely isn’t a good thing, or they believe that loving is all it takes. Now for those who have serious psychological issues, there is a certain understanding. A child should ideally get a safe environment where they can be a child and have a certain amount of support, especially if this child has particular past issues of their own. But they are saying that for example, if you have chronic conditions which can be related to obesity such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and so on, most agencies are worried about your ability to take care of the child and therefore often will be reluctant to put a child in your care. Obviously if you have life threatening conditions or illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, they would be right in thinking that you might be in no shape to take care of a child in any instance. But obesity rates are playing a big part. It is requiring in some ways that some agencies loosen up their standards and give more exceptions, because children staying in foster homes on a long term basis is not good for anybody. But at the same point in time, they are not loosening up on life threatening conditions, mental disorders, addictions, and various other aspects.
Marketing Schemes - September 8th, 2009
Advertising is a brilliant thing, it really is. They convince you that you should actually be doing this or that and you will be skinnier, it will taste better, etc. How they do it remains of course a mystery to some. But with bottles for example, it’s really very simple. No matter what kind of drink it is, they find that women will actually pay more and buy more when they see a bottle that is indented in the middle denoting an hourglass figure in terms of the human body. This is ridiculous right? I mean you are actually getting less of the drink, and if it’s water well obviously the more you get the better, and yet they are ripping us off and we buy the products because in the back of our minds, we see these indented bottles and we think skinny. So it’s not the smartest thing to do exactly, and yet we continue to do it to ourselves. But I guess that’s the way media works. Now if it’s a soda or something, it might be good for us to subconsciously cut back on that drink. But they do it with water for the most part, which obviously isn’t as good a thing as you may initially think in many cases.
